Oracle Open World 2017 Blockchain Stream Analytics Mobile Web Demo

THE CHALLENGE

CREATE AN ORACLE OPEN WORLD 2017 BLOCKCHAIN DEMO THAT COMMUNICATES THE BENEFITS OF PROVENANCE TRACKING TECHNOLOGY

Our goal was to show how blockchain technology enables the tracking of products sold at retail chain outlets back through the various points it has been registered at in an effort to contain or minimize a possible health risk.

Note: I am only sharing the slides I was responsible for in this demo.

My Role

I created all the visual designs and provided all of the specifications to Engineering.

In addition, I collaborated with an Interaction Designer, and a Product Manager.

Innovative Ag Services Cooperative Registration site

This first slide enables the farmer to select the Shell Egg Producer Registration form.

Producer and Size of Operation Information

This slide enables the Farmer to enter producer and size of the operation Information.

Certification Information

This slide let's the Farmer browse to select "Pasture Raised," "Seasonal Raised," or "Free Range" inspection reports. The Farmer then certifies that all the information about to be uploaded is correct and enters his personal information number (PIN).  The information can now be uploaded to the Innovative Ag Services Cooperative.

Farm to Table Consortium

The F2T Blockchain provenence tracking technology is able to trace the retail outlet that the eggs were purchased from back to the distributers, processors and the producers if required to isolate the source of possible contamination and spread of further sickness.

THE IMPACT

The Oracle Open World 2017 Blockchain Stream Analytics Mobile Web Demo was considered very successful in that we had achieved our goals. It was also very well received by:

  1. Our Customers base and those who attended the Oracle Open World trade show as they were shown positive life examples of what our technology could do for their business or services with real time data through the cloud.

  2. Our Engineering team as I had posted all of the demo screens in sketch file format on the InVision servers to ensure they would have all of the specification information they required when viewing in the “Inspect” mode.
