THE CHALLENGE

Create various pages and design elements for the alta mobile ui design system

My Goal was to design the layout and graphic assets of various parts of the Alta Mobile UI Design System within the following areas:

  1. The Banner and all graphic assets in the Alta Mobile UI landing page.

  2. The Alta Mobile Icon Guide Design Objectives page.

  3. The Alta Mobile Components Contemporary Native Look & Feel page.

  4. The Alta Mobile Patterns Common Design Solutions page.

MY ROLE

My goal was to create the layout and graphic elements for the various sections and pages within the Alta Mobile UI Design System Website. I designed the following sections and website pages:

  1. The Banner layout composition and all graphic elements in the Alta Mobile UI page.

  2. The Alta Mobile Icon Guide Design Objectives page. I was responsible for researching and determining the icon scaling matrix to be used for the MDPI, XHDPI, XXHDPI, and XXXHDPI screen density buckets. I was also responsible for researching and determining the icon sizes to be used within each of the Alta Mobile UI components.

  3. The Alta Mobile Components Contemporary Native Look & Feel page. I created the visual designs for most of the Alta Mobile iOS, Android and Windows native look and feel components. I also created the visual designs for all of the preview images on the components contemporary native look & feel page.

  4. The Alta Mobile Patterns Common Design Solutions Page. I created the visual designs for most of the components that are used within the pattern solution examples. I also created the visual designs for all of the preview images on the Patterns page.

THE IMPACT

The Alta Mobile UI Design System Website was considered very successful in that we had achieved our goals of communicating important information to our JET Mobile Development teams within our UX Middleware Group. It was also very well received by:

  1. Our Customer base who were using our technology to create applications and products with our technology.

  2. Our Management team as the Alta Mobile UI Design System Website met the requirements that we had received from Product Management
